There are UK guide lines. What are your lipid numbers and the reason for the increase in dosage?

There is no such thing as a cholesterol reading for a healthy person!!

If you don't mind me asking Lynn, what are your readings and how old are you ?

Hi just keep eating healthy. Go with the traffic light system on food packaging.

Stick to the greens and a few orange stay away from the reds.

Why are you on 40mg statin? Did your GP or cardiologist explain this?

Put a question to your GP, " why are you planning to shout down my body functioning when my cholesterol is 4.5, it is possible 4.5 may relate to another cholesterol number not total cholesterol!!!!!
