Just read Dr. Joel Fuhrman's book, "Eat to Live".

You'll be very glad you did!

Look up the Pritikin diet.

Also read my posts, 'Coming Off Statins'

Daily Exercise is also critical. Start with a daily walk of 20 minutes. Work up to an hour. You can do it in intervals of 3x20 minutes if your schedule is tight.

Good Luck.

Thanks for your response. I don't walk but I ride my bicycle at least 3x weekly. Honestly. I can see where it comes from with all the desserts I eat.😕

How will you be disciplined about your new diet? Without accountability it's too easy to cheat and fall off the wagon. Do a blood test every 3 months to track your progress, this will keep you on the straight and narrow. It is also rewarding to see yourself moving in the right direction.

In fact , cholesterol is one of the metabolic disorders that changes ordinary functions of the regulation serum cholesterol in the body and increases the chance to get other complications if it is not reduced promptly . The specific target for cholesterol alleviation is to change your diet cholesterol , in other words avoid much eating such as eggs and other foods contain plenty cholesterol consumption . To keep simply your level of cholesterol , exercise and physical activity recommended for the prevention against the risk concerns about Initial Atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease events . other life routine habits include eating fruits and vegetables , drinking more water and cessation of smoking and alcohol .

Human body produces 80% cholesterol on demand from the body! 20% from food intake! The old story that eggs contribute to high cholesterol is a no no now days!

Food and drinks intake control ,watching out for hidden sugar and free sugar and regular exercise can help towards a healthy life. Statin medication has side effect and can give problems to some people.

Stress is the one to watch out for heart problems. One life, relax and enjoy it.
