Hello FredaE, sorry to her of your husbands dillema. Do you have a local mobility office ,they can advise on all sorts of wheelchairs. Local council only advise on basic push wheelchairs and it requires a GPs referral . There are some sites on line who will send someone out thers are so many I could not really recommend one in particular. Maybe Age UK might be able to help.
you'd never know. it .no help, no advice on how to cope, and no attempt to maintain his upper body strength...what has happened to the wonderful Health service we used to have.?
