A mixed media painting from my very limited imagination that I call "Boats and Boathouse II". I loved painting this, with the way the watercolour in the sky ran together and the oil pastel in the foreground resisted the watercolour. It wasn't until I was staring at a blank horizon that I thought I should consider the foreground a beach, add some trees and a Noddy-simplistic building in the background, and then add some boat masts to complete. It was fun. I do wish I had a more extensive imagination, however.
