Pulomary Embolism

I suffered a Pulmonary Embolism 2 clots in the lung and 1 in the leg on 14th February 2021 I have been prescribed Rivaroxaban I was fine at first but now after 6 weeks I have started having really bad Vertigo. Has anyone else had this reaction here?

Sorry to hear about your pulmonary embolism. Is vertigo one of the mentioned side effects? Whether yes or no I’d contact your GP and explain what’s happening.

Hi Pollydoddle, Sorry I don’t have any personal experience of this drug but on looking it up, dizziness is given as one of the commoner side effects. But please don’t assume that it’s the case for you. As sassy59 has wisely suggested, please check with your GP in case this is something else going on which might need speedy intervention. I had that back in 2017 and got prescribed rivaroxaban as well and I have had no problems on it 20mg but when I was on the 2 x 15mg dose I had dizziness but it settled down on the 20mg but we are all different.
