Hi everyone,
I wonder what the new week will bring to us?
Actually mine started in quite a painful way.
Kasar the cat (also known to me as 'Ivan the Terrible'), was displeased that I discontinued his petting first thing this morning, without permission. As a revenge, but without any malice, he just quietly sank his teeth into my arm as a demand that I continue forthwith. Which I quickly did. "Sorry m'lord, I won't do that again in a hurry!"
No quotation for you today. You can have the day off! I generally post the same quotation in both of the communities I moderate, but today's was focused just on the Positive Wellbeing forum, so I will recommence tomorrow. (I'm sure you'll all be glad of the rest).
How did last week go for all of you? I think that things are stranger now than at the start of the pandemic. It's a restless and more worrying time in many aspects, with one half of the population wanting to quickstep into more freedoms and the other wanting a more leisurely waltz on the way back. I think it's just time to make more individual choices which will keep you safe given your own set of circumstances.
I hope it's true that throughout the pandemic, Carers have continued to get all of the support they've needed, and to all who have helped to keep things going, whether personally for the ones you care for, or for those who've continued to keep essential nursing services going, I have to say that you are all my heroes.
And with that in mind, I'm now going to get my Monday started in earnest and I wish you all a really good week ahead. Take care and be safe. ๐บ๐ฆ๐
