Hi everyone,
I'm glad I carelessly posted a post here, on the wrong forum yesterday, as I heard back from several of you, after an almost silent week on the Care Community.
I totally understand that you are all consumed with the covid-19 crisis, but I am always wondering how you are all getting on, in this troublesome time. So it was lovely to hear from some of you.
I'm sure nobody, and least of all me, will mind at all if you have time to just come and post on any topic so that you all stay in touch with each other. There is a dedicated forum at Positive Wellbeing for Self Isolators, but it doesn't mean you can't post generally here, to help each other. It doesn't all have to be directly about Caring.
I think it's quite tough to even raise Caring concerns at the moment as this is a critical time when we know we have to somehow just get through as best we can, and that it can be a struggle to get the help needed at times. (as it always is, but magnified).
When I clapped medical services last night at 8pm, I silently remembered all of you too. Our really unsung heroes, without whom, the struggle to cope with all of this would be even more challenging for medical services. So this morning I am again mentally clapping all of you, for the massive service you give to others, with very little to no reward or recognition. The silent army who keeps on marching every day of the year.
All of you are inspirational! 👏👏👏😻
Please stay safe and stay strong, and have a trouble-free weekend, as far as you can.
