Thanks for your post and I wish you luck with your quest to find others to talk to. I just wanted to point out that, although it's fine to have posted your request on this forum, it's mostly a place where people much older than 26 come for help and advice with caring for other people (usually infirm or with dementia).

So you may not find the sort of contact you are looking for here. Isolation and loneliness are horrible and it is very common at any age. You might be lucky enough to get a response from someone, but I think you might have more luck with finding compatible people if you re-post on a forum that others look at to make social contact with other people.

But very best wishes, and I hope you do find some people to talk to.
