Hi marins5,

I see that you are in US, so I can't help you very much, as I'm in UK, and access to medical help and tests often varies widely. But in very broad terms getting a diagnosis usually, at least, includes blood tests and an MRI scan.

Maybe another group member from your side of the pond can offer you some more detailed information about how diagnosis is reached in US. Or, probably even better, you will see under the 'My hub' tab in HealthUnlocked that there is a button to click for all groups, and there are multiple of those which are dedicated to MS and neurology. Although we are always glad to hear from anyone, our Care Community group deals mostly with Care and Caring.

Very best wishes.

MS will show up as lesions in the brain tissue, I had one a few years ago, and was fortunately cleared, as MS is a great fear for me.
