It doesn't take much !

I am carer to my husband and one of his problems is deafness. I finally persuaded him to go to an Audiologist and today he was fitted with a hearing aid, another to follow when he gets used to this one. Once home he came out of the bathroom beaming. He could hear himself pee ! Happy days, Polly X

Hi Polly, that's fantastic news! Hopefully he'll be able to really enjoy the festivities, by being able to engage more...the advantage too is if it's too noisy, he can switch off literally!

Happy Christmas!

Nice to hear something positive! 😉 - It will make it much easier for you. No chance of him pretending not to hear you eh!

I also have a. Hearing aid ( for my right ear which is a result of a perforated ear drum)

What a difference! 😉

Happy Xmas 🎄

I love that. Many years ago my father in law flushed one of the old fashioned toilet chains just after he had his new hearing aids and nearly gave himself a heart attack as he thought he was going to drown! Thank you for making me smile and for bringing back smiley memories.
