care guide for carers who look after elderly parents at home

hi I my self am a carer and work for bupa my mother is elderly and is being looked after by her daughter my mum has dementia and from my experience working with dementia not an easy job is there any written guides or booklets that I can forward to my sister so she can read and learn on how to care for someone with dementia

Forgive me for stating the obvious, but as you work for BUPA, surely they've got leaflets you can send to your sister???

Hi, i was given The Dementia Guide which has been produced by the Alzheimer's society. Have you been able to contact them as they will have a wealthy of information on dementia.

Have you also been able to log onto these websites:
