Looking for carer

We have an 89 year old mother based in Sprotbrough, near Doncaster and are trying to find a suitable carer for live-in care. the options in terms of approaching people appear to be bewildering and whilst also paying for agency referrals the candidates provided have bene totally unsuitable. is there any forum for advertising for suitable carers so that we can vet them personally?

If you mother has dementia, why not try the local dementia society and see if they can recommend anyone? How about an advert is a publication like the Lady or in her local paper?
