Hi. I have a 90 yr old mother whom I visit twice a week who has carers for 4 hours a day but nobody at night so I am on call with careline 24 hrs a day and recently have been called during the night a number of times. Is this likely to qualify me as being a carer?

Yes, I am sure it does. Look up 'Care for the Carers', they can answer all your questions and have lots of information that may help you.
