You might be interested in the procedure that I am using for neuropathy in my feet. I only have a little tingling in my fingers, so I ignore that. I realize you are in the UK, but perhaps you can find equivalents there.
I got a small (6 inch) car buffer from Home Depot, Wen brand, for about $17.
Then I also got a speed controller because running at full speed was not very comfortable and seemed to be less effective, so here's a link to a speed controller on Amazon for $22. There's also another brand for a similar price named a JOD router fan speed controller -- see the second link below.
Initially, I ran my controller set on the line between the medium and high speed ranges. Since then, I've found the results seem better with the speed set in the middle of the medium speed range. I like the new speed, and am reluctant to try a lower speed because I believe it will stress and overheat the chip in the controller. (I've used these controllers for running small pumps in my laboratory, and have burned out and replaced a number of the triacs they use.)
It only takes a minute on each foot plus half a minute on each calf or ankle nightly to cut the annoying pain and burning down by a third to 1/2. More recently, my wife has spent 3-1/2 minutes per foot, focusing on the toes and ball of the foot. Now I get up to 80% relief, except for the last few hours of the day. It varies a bit from day to day, but hugely better than untreated.
It's also very useful for joint pain and to eliminate bruises.
Tried several medications and none helped. Good luck.
