As you already know Emma, Lara does. I'm still finding it incredibly frustrating that gosh say her macroglossia as mild enough not to need surgery but Southampton think it's huge and is the cause for needing a tracheostomy. It winds me up so much I just want to scream.

Hopefully her new ENT consultant we are seeing next week will have some answers but I'm not holding my breath.

AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!

Sorrry to hear about your frustrations. Who are you seeing at GOSH?

Initially when we saw them they thought my sons was mild and didn't need surgery but then when his teeth started coming through his bottom ones jutted infront of the top ones and Mr Dunnaway said that was indication it needed doing. When he actually came to operate they found he had significant tongue tie and they ended up taking about 30 percent of his tongue away, more than they expected.

Not what you're looking for?
