Hi my friend, BTA says that Is a Dangerous and uneffective medication/supplement. Check the dedicated page on the site.
As Antinni says - NO! They are just trying to get your money. There is NO pill you can buy which will “cure” tinnitus. Please go to the website of the British Tinnitus Association and get information.
Hi siddhiagarwal Welcome to the forum 🙂 I'm sorry to say there's nothing you can do or take to cure tinnitus. The best way is to learn how to manage it effectively - if possible . This does get easier over time.
It gets a rating of 2.6 out of 5 on Amazon, and that’s bad. Looking at the ingredients there’s nothing there that would cure tinnitus. None of these so called cures are any good sadly.
Please see the British Tinnitus Assoication position on Silencil here tinnitus.org.uk/tinnitus-an... .
Hi Siddhiagarwal - as others in the thread have suggested, Silencil is a dietary supplement which makes unsubstantiated and unevidenced claims about an ability to resolve tinnitus. It is, in our opinion, not something which will be of help to anyone who is distressed by their tinnitus.
Unfortunately there is no cure for tinnitus and anyone who tells you there is is probably after your money. Depending on the cause, the person and and a whole host of weird and wonderful factors it may get better for a while, but will almost always return unless it was caused by something that caused a temporary condition - such as a loud noise causing a temporary ringing in the ears. If it is not too bad, learning to live with it is the best you can do and will happen. Unfortunately the worse it is, the harder it is to live with but there are techniques. Definitely research more but stay away from anything that promises a cure. People have various levels of successful with masking hearing aids, white noise to enable them to sleep, listening to music etc, but none of these are a cure.
