I didn’t realise the weather could affect my breathing so badly. I seem to have been on oxygen for most of the day. I feel like a dead duck with no energy Anyone else feel like this today with the heat ?

I certainly do, dead duck describes me perfectly! I've had this problem ever since the heatwave of a couple of years ago, or whenever it was. I had bronchiectasis and moderate airflow obstruction hit me suddenly eight years ago, and after xrays and blood tests, they diagnosed vasculitis which had damaged my lungs. I haven't needed extra oxygen though. I was bad enough with that alone, but then the heatwave left me totally depleted of all energy. My body seems to slow down considerably in excessive heat , and I can barely move, trudging along like a human snail. When people say, What lovely weather, I can't say I really agree.
