Hi

I'm struggling with inflamation of the lungs with bilateral Bronchiectasis. Any help or advice on trying to keep these lungs cleaned out as much as possible. My professor put me on Azithomicin to see if that would help, apparently it has good reviews.

Hi Keem59. I've been working on lung clearance exercises, which I taught myself on youtube. I find the Active Cycle of Breathing Technique has been helpful. I had several infections from July - Oct 2020 with inflammation and I've managed to avoid infection since mid-Oct. I do it every night. I also use a flutter device or positive expiratory pressure device. And I'm Rx a brochodilator (Ventolin). Hope this helps.
