Hello all, does anyone else suffer from extreme hot flushes, I am thinking the ladies amongst us...but not necessarily so. I am of the post menopause age so can't put them down to that. They happen at any time, during the night is worse as they disturb sleep, any help, guidance or advice much appreciated.

Thank you

hi, cannot offer guidance or advice but empathy, am hot every night and often in the day, haven't had a hot flush For 40 years so quite shocking.

I wonder if mine are caused by anxiety?

I also have been having lots of hot flushes - I am 68 - my GP suggested might be low thyroid output. Try get a blood test. Will keep you posted if I find out.

I am in my seventies and for several years I have had hot flushes and find hot weather very difficult. We are currently experiencing ridiculously warm weather and I am hating it. I feel as though my internal thermometer has failed.
