Well after receiving a fibroscan and score being kpa 19.4 cap 3 50 they gave me a diagnosis of stage 4 fibrosis. My bloods are all normal, ultersound picked up on N.A.F.L.D but outline of my liver was smooth .. I have spent weeks freaking out thinking I'm going to leave my 2 babies behind I'm only 33. Been told could wait months to see a liver specialist. Me and my husband decided to go private and get second opinion. I am abousltely terrified. I have a son with Autism and a little girl the thought of leaving them is unbearable. The worry and the waiting for results is eating me up mentally ! I am terrified I'm obesseing over what's in my food carnt sleep carnt stop googleing .. I never smoked nor do I drink I do have serval autoimmune diseases and diabetes.

Hi, I was 33 when diagnosed with cirrhosis last year, also from NAFLD, basically the only way of knowing for sure is a liver biopsy like I had, they take a bit of your liver and look at it under a microscope, unforunatly mine confirmed cirrhosis, I also cannot beleive it, I look at this board daily to see the new posts, I just hope when the times comes I am approved for a transplant so I can live.

I hope you are found ultimatly not to have cirrhosis, its not uncommon for the fibroscan to overstage you.

Hi, from your biopsy were they able to pin point the cause of your fatty liver? All you can do is try and adapt to a healthy eating and exercise and the changes may be able to improve your livers health and stop it from worsening xx

Hi big news to get your head around, make sure you download the BLT booklets lots of useful info and dietary help. Try and look at eating healthier, stay clear of alcohol and try to destress once you have time to take it all in. Autoimmune illnesses and diabetes could factor into your fatty liver but by adapting to a healthier lifestyle you will be helping your liver xx
