Update on Access to Hospital Records

I have managed to get an answer my earlier question on electronic access to my hospital records and results. Sadly my trust (South Tees Hospitals NHS Trust) does not link with any third party portals like PKB or MyChart and so on line access is not possible. It seems that the NHS in England is so disjointed in its systems and IT provision we have another 'postcode lottery'. I can fill in an online subject request for specific tests and reports for each request and get results within up to 30 working days. Not ideal but it is what it is. Would be lovely to have had some joined up government thinking and investment at a national level to have a 21st century system. Thanks to all who responded to my originsl post.

yeah its very confusing unfortunately mainly as to why an organisation is so disjointed in the first place.... the fact that different hospitals use different systems is a bit bizarre to begin with. There is always an I.T issue as to why something cannot be done,

thank you very much for the info though im in North East so i would guess its going to be similar issue, but then again its the nhs lol who knows...
