i have posted on here a few times regarding my partner. He has compensated Cirrhosis and hcc 2cm tumor and awaitng results of biopsy to establish which treatment he will have. He has now developed diabetes and have read that this can affect mortality greatly. Does anyone have an information about how this can affect mortality? should i expect him to go downhill? or something to arise from this? I need to know honestly what to expect. Thank you in advance

My hubby is newly diagnosed with diabetes on top of his cirrhosis, we are due to go through to Edinburgh soon to discuss this with liver specialist and liver specialist dietician.
Will update when we've had that appointment as we've the same concerns.
