hi trying to help my dad out who has Liver failure, is there anything else other are finding helpful in easing symptoms? Thanks

No, No, No. Sadly there is no magical cure. Some supplements can cause more harm than good. Please always follow the advice from your consultant, some of these supplements can cancel out the work that prescribed medication are trying to do, your heart is in the right place, but please just be careful.

thank you, not been given any tablets other than water tablets and B1 ! It feels like the Consultant is just leaving me to die in an inhumane way! So need in a desperate measure to regenerate my liver quick

Unfortunately there is no way of regenerating a liver quickly, with cirrhosis the key thing is stopping anything which has attacked the liver in the hope it stops further deterioration. Sadly, as Richard has pointed out many herbal and so called alternative remedies are also liver toxic with no scientifically proven benefit at all.Good diet, exercise, low salt, low sugar diet and keeping as well as possible is key.
