Does anyone know if its possible to email mri pictures to private radiologist to get a second oppinion? I read in reaserch about very specific signs of cirrosis like right hepatic notch sign, enlarged hiller periportal space, but it seems that regular radioligist dont look at it ( i talked to some of them).
Private radiologist: Does anyone know if... - British Liver Trust

HiYou should be able to obtain any personal information held by the hospital about you. This should include mri.
I would just ask them to email you copies. (If you want them to send it to a third party i.e a private doctor they could as you to sign a consent form. Probably a pain -If they email you you can just forward it on)
I have done this and no eyebrows were raised. Probably best not to get legal at first. They will undoubtedly know you have a right to the information held. In the same way you have a right to see your gp's records held about you.
I just said it was for my own personal records but you shouldn't need to give an explanation. Hope this helps.

Why are you trying to convince yourself that you have cirrhosis. All your multiple tests including scans say your livers fine.
An MRI shows cirrhosis so clearly that even a trained monkey would be able to see it!
You could get a paid for second opinion but I doubt any Dr would look at a previous Dr's scans, they would want to do their own range of tests.
Here in UK that costs about £1000 ( £1500 if you opt for MRI) so probably about the same in Norway.
