E.D. with cirrhosis

Do any men here take E.D. medication who have cirrhosis? If so, what meds, what stage cirrhosis? Experience and advice please.Is tadalafil (Cialis) less harsh on the liver than sildenafil (Viagra)?

Other options?

Of course I won't take anything without being given by my doctor.

Have been using Viagra , but that was prior to my diagnosis

At the end of the ay its a blood pressure medicine

If you have heart problems, portal vein hypertension or low blood pressure, make sure doctor evaluation is done.

I spoke to my doctor and she put me on Sildenafil, that was back when I was first diagnosed and had a stay in hospital for a few weeks, doctors didn’t think I was getting out of hospital, but here I am nearly 20 years older just had a new liver and still taking it 👍.

That's great news. I take it, it hasn't had any detrimental effect on your liver then and presumably they started you on the lowest dose (25mg)?

yes started on that then they put it up to 50mg , but since my new liver I’m finding it easier male 67.

I took cialis with compensated cirrhosis. I asked my specialist about it before I took it and was told it wasn’t a “contraindication”. Thankfully I only had to take it a few times. Wishing you the best.
