Fluid restrictions after diuretics

I've been on diuretics for 3 months to control ascites. These have been reduced periodically to the point they are due to stop. Once I stop them, IF the ascites is still controlled , will the clinic look for me tonbe able.to slowly increase my fluid intake or am I looking at being on restrictions for life?((Cirrhosis f4, previous ascites))

Ask the question at your next appointment- personally I’d rather take some diuretics and not have a severely limited fluid intake. Currently not in diuretics but have some swelling in legs by end of day and small amount of fluid in stomach.
