Vac or not tomorrow?

Had my worst bad 'flare ' from end Jan till mid April, (was never so poorly ever, bit chesty too) pred up to 30mg, and reduced to 25 x 3 weeks, bloods done 9th May, can't get results ? (all hep staff and nurses off last week and this week) Rand Consult sec to enquire for blood labels - preferred my bloods done before tomorrow (fab hep nurse was monitoring weekly from Jan till 18 April, but Ive ran out of blood labels ) Im only just feeling a bit more myself this week, Ive been absolutely shattered, nice to feel a bit more me and normal. Q) prefer blood draw before Vac (so not to spike any numbers that may affect increase/decrease in steroid) but, wondering what to do? do I go for the Va Jab Pzer tomorrow ? or delay a bit longer? your thoughts appreciated, thank you

I’ve just been for mine. I didn’t have a choice on the brand and was given Moderna. Like you I’ve had a flare up recently and been on a short dose of steroids. I’m not due for another blood test for a couple of months so hoping the vaccine will be out of my system but still doing its job by then. I think I’d have the bloods before the jab, but only if you can get both fairly soon without a long delay. If you’re planning anything adventurous with lots of people I’d have the jab asap. No medical knowledge behind that recommendation whatsoever but I hope it helps
