Hi, My friend has high AST (150), ALT (115) and GGT (415). Thry have high blood pressure too. They've stopped drinking alcohol but are now terrified to go to the doctor and get scan results and want to ignore it. Will this definitely be bad news?

should go get it looked at definitely. That’s not too high ( I’m not a doctor). If they truly have stopped drinking, they should start to go down but ignoring it is definitely not the smart move. They can be elevated due to other reasons.
Depends what they consider bad news is!It's likely to be the first indication of liver disease BUT also an early warning of more serious things to come if its ignored.
