HiWhen you reach 50 it feels like when it comes to health you are constantly dodging bullets.
With my latest fibro score of 8.8 (down from 10.8) it feels like I have moved from dying because of 'it' to dying with 'it' now I want to move to dying without 'it'.
I will still die of course but hopefully it won't be my liver what did it!

I had one fibro scan 8 years ago.. They never did another one. All MRI's now.. I should request one just to see what comes up.. Or maybe that is asking for trouble.
It was 27.9 eight years ago. I doubt much has changed once it's that "stiff"..
Nelson, in addition to Iro’s progress yours was great to hear. I was diagnosed 2 years ago at 38. It seems the mri is the standard to monitor other issues that can arise from cirrhosis. I get nervous every 6 months.
Welcome to the club. I managed to reach my mid fifties will little more than the occasional seasonal cold and a couple of broken bones from skating and motorbiking. Since then it's been downhill with cirrhosis diagnosis, Vitamin D deficiency, portal hypertension etc. I've taken the bull by the horns and made a conscious effort to fight back. I've dropped weight, taking my BMI from obese, to just 5kg shy of being a healthy weight. I'm walking 4 miles a day, with more at the weekends and completely changed my diet.
Things are moving in the right direction. You've got this. 👍
