To give you some background. 6 years ago my husband was put into a coma with liver, kidney and lung failure. He was diagnosed with Chirrosis and stopped drinking for 6 months after his 4 month stint in hospital . He has been in denial about his illness. He started drinking again although not on a daily basis and went for his scans. Last one he attended he was told liver was looking ok. So he continued drinking on weekends and there has been no way of reasoning with him. He has refused to attend his appointments since just before the pandemic. Now he is really struggling with his memory and struggles to do his job. He has agreed to see his GP so trying to get an appointment ASAP. I just fear this is really bad news. Has anyone any experience of chirrosis and memory loss and at what stage that means he is in? Thanks for reading
