BUN/creatinine

I saw that my BUN level was low . At what stage of cirrhosis would cause a low BUN? And BUN/creatinine ratio? I’m hoping it’s just low from being well hydrated but I read liver cirrhosis can also be a cause and I had a few other numbers low or high.

that is the scary part about liver disease and cirrhosis. THe liver doesn't have any nerves so most people dont realize they have it until it is too later. you need to get your blood work done and look at your platelet count, INR, and liver enzymes then that should be followed by an ultra sound and/or MRI with and witihout contrast. You want to make sure you find out before it is ""compensated" with other symptoms like HE, esophageal varisces, and/or ascites....
