So so happy to hear this news this morning that he is off the ventilator. Sending you all the love and positive thoughts you have been amazingly strong. One day at a time my lovely and enjoy your visit.
such wonderful news, has brought a tear to my eye to think and hope that one day I will be you and can post such a post about my partner. It sounds like he is doing great, you make sure you look after yourself too xx
Well done you. You should be proud of yourself. You too have shared in this journey. That old adage, “What doesn't break you makes you stronger” will seem so true. A liver transplant is often seen as being a rebirth for many of us.
There may well be some emotional issues and feelings of depression, Survivors Guilt or PTSD, So don’t be alarmed if there are some tears. This is an ideal time to let go of any old ghosts and those skeletons in the closet. They are now all gone as they were all in the past, and you've now been reborn.
So pleased for you both. It truly is the start of the future for you. In a matter of weeks you’ll see how different life will be. You have been so supportive, as was my partner, trust me, it makes a difference!! Congratulations.
such good uplifting news that I am sure will bring hope and comfort to a lot of others in a similar position to yourselves. Please keep everyone up to date with progress when you can.
congratulations that’s fabulous news. You can now look forward to a new life once he has recovered. My hubby is nearly a year post transplant and is doing really well.
Just the sort of news everyone needs to hear. We must all appreciate our lives and our loved ones no matter what "life throws at you". You have been so strong throughout this episode in both of your lives and one can never take a back seat. Please look after yourself also and sincere thoughts for a well deserved future life together. ❤️🌈
Good news, here's to an uncomplicated recovery, take it easy, don't rush recovery it generally takes a year to recover from surgery, whilst he may recover fairly quickly on the outside there is so much more going on inside. He also has to get used to the highly toxic drugs we take, first side effect will be uncontrollable shakes these will wear off when dosage is lowered. Don't be surprised if his character changes, he has nightmares and hallucinations in the first few days due to the pain killers he is on, be patient.
he's out of icu ..for those wondering what to pack ste didn't need anything till out of icu there's limited space and he was out of it most of his time there so he had his op at 12.30 sun on icu by 8pm just had a call tonight at 9pm to say he going up to the ward so I will take his bag in tomorrow ..as for my bag well 7 flannels 5 towels 1 pair of jeans 3 Bras 4 tops later I'm sat in the b and b think wtf was I thinking either I'm going to be very clean with nothing to wear or I'm going shopping for new clothes in between visiting..so I guess our bag is more important than their bag. But given 20 days listed we really wasnt expecting the call do soon . Physio getting him on his feet tomorrow he still shaking and not eating very much but to be expected. He's on track and I'm so proud. thankful .
good news love....that's a promising start, with coming out of intensive care......slow and steady...wins the race. 7 flannels,5 towels😆. Extremely clean love . I'm sure your very proud of him....
