Gas pain

hello, I have cirrhosis and liver cancer due to Hep c. I’m waiting for radiotherapy ablation and hoping to be listed following a 3 phase ct scan. I’m worried this may show more cancer that MRI doesn’t show. Also I get pain if I get any wind it travels up my back, sometimes feel slight pain in esophagus and shooting pain in back of head. It’s mostly between my shoulder blades. I get constipation but I’m managing this with diet. I try to stay fit most days being active.

Does anyone else experience this pain. It’s actually what made me persist in going the hospital when the found the cancer.

Hi I suffer with a lot of wind as well before my Ileostomy surgery I used to lay on my back with knees bent arms to the side and rock my knees left then right all the way to the bed, movement seems to help. Now with the bag fitted I use Windeze tablets they seem to work for me. Good luck I know how painful it can get.

I also have cirrhosis and liver cancer after Five doses of radiotherapy everything is stable after over two years. All the best.

thanks that’s very encouraging. I’ve just had my first grandchild and it’s good to know I’ve a fighting chance of being around for her x
