Red dots

I was diagnosed with ALRD in March (early stage Cirrohsis with good Liver function) .

it all kicked off because I had started bruising very easily. The bruises are actually red, dont go blue/yellow, just fade away, mostly on my arms.

Over the last 2 days I've had a couple of blood blister type things come up on my lower arm, just below elbow. I scratched one not knowing it was there and it bled quite a lot for a tiny blister. I also noticed I have quite a few little red dots in the same area..

I was wondering if this is a progression in my liver disease. I only get annual consultations with the Liver doctor, the next ones not due until May.

I had all my 6-monthly bloods taken at GPs yesterday results go direct to Liver specialist. Do they usually take a couple of weeks?

Thanks for any feed back.

Eileen

I know little, but from my own experience, it could be that you need to take vitamin K2 for the blood blisters. Can’t comment on your other issues.
