I saw my liver consultant week and he told me my liver count was "A" I have not heard of this score, has anyone heard of this and what does this mean? Oh by the way he did not seem worried about this.

Maybe this? But better ask your consultant.

I was advised I had this result too, and told I have compensated cirrhosis and liver is still managing to function normally at present. However ask your GP or consultant for clarification - there experts. Best wishes Dandy Jones 🙏

Many thanks for all your replies, it was the consultant who told me this and would not say what this meant. I did see a different consultant. Will hopefully find out.

Probably "Child Pugh" score A.

About as good as it gets with a cirrhosis diagnosis.
