New research aids understanding of how COVID-19 can damage organs

I have over the past few years now been involved in a project with a doctor friend down at the Royal Free in London. This man is such a busy guy and has so many fingers in so many pies. I really don’t know how he does it. (Not allowed to mention names on here)

For some years now, he has been researching the effect and spread of COVID amongst those people with liver disease. A much greater understanding of how liver diseased patients can become more affected and ultimately become more seriously unwell than others.
