Hi I recently had they called it 2D shear wave scan which showed kpa 13.6 I also had a ct scan from what I understand they said my shear wave showed grading as F3 but CT was F4 so could be between 3-4 so I am having a biopsy as this will give a more accurate figure. I am confused to whether I am F3-4fibrosis or cirrhosis I currently have no symptoms apart from spider nevi on chest and on no medication yet but this could change when I see me consultant in May. It’s just I thought F4 cirrhosis was near end of liver stage and keep thinking I am going to become seriously ill soon and this is making me very anxious. I don’t drink alcohol but I am overweight and have lost 2 stone I mainly eat fish, chicken, vegetables and fruit and will continue with weight lost. I also have gallstones and my question on this is would they remove my gallbladder if my liver is bad?.
Sorry for the long post I’m just trying to get my head around everything and I know from previous post that many of you are so knowledgable
Thank you in advance for any advice

You wrote you are suspected to have NASH/PBC, was PBC confirmed by your doctors? About your fibrosis staging I think you should wait for your biopsy which will be conclusive (in most case it is).
