Hi, yesterday I downloaded the NHS app for my COVID pass information, under my medical conditions it lists liver steatosis (last april U.S) and renal fibrosis? (November U.S). I thought renal was kidney related? at no point has anything other than liver fibrosis been confirmed to me by letter or phone consultations. I have a GP appt on thursday and will follow up with the Dr then but can renal mean liver as well? Thankyou

Renal is kidney. I wonder if someone made a mistake in your record. Liver Steatosis means Fatty Liver so perhaps if you subsequently got Liver Fibrosis on your US it's been an error in writing it up & rather than Renal Fibrosis is should have said Liver or Hepatic Fribrosis.
Definitely need to check with your doctor as to what is actually on file.

Thankyou Katie, yes I will do. I'm hoping that it is an error as it's quite shocking to read on an app, it doesn't say liver fibrosis on my record so hopefully it is. I'll let you know 😊
