MRI scan finding

In Feb 2021 I had a follow up fibroscan following an ultrasound finding of mild cirrhosis. I had a score of 10kpa and 310 cap, the latter score (I think?) indicating quite a fatty liver and I was told I have moderate fibrosis but no cirrhosis. However, during the ultrasound a cyst was found in my pancreas and I had to have an MRI scan with contrast earlier this month to investigate. On the scan report it states ‘no significant steatosis’ on the bit about the liver. I know specific results etc can’t be discussed but I wondered if anyone had any thoughts on why the fibroscan and the MRI scan might give a different picture regarding the fatty liver? Xx

I would encouarge you to discuss this further with your liver consultant (hepatologist) They will be able to examine and assess all your test results for an accurate diagnosis .
