Curious what everyone’s goals are for sugar intake? I keep my added sugars around 10 grams or less but how about natural occurring sugars ?

I keep my sugar content at less than 3-4grams sugar per 100 grams, but I am diabetic ! I find that if i eat fruit(naturally occuring sugars), I get a bit of liver pain/uncomfortable feeling so in my case it is just best to steer clear of fruit as I know my liver cannot cope with it.
