Doctor office requested Ultrasound after Blood Work

I had my routine blood work done last Wednesday and today I got a call from my doctor's office about Ultrasound request. Feeling little scared here right now! I don;t have the copy of my bloodwork in front me as of now...so I don;t know what I'm dealing with!

I don’t know where you’re located but if you’re in the US, we use labcorp or Quest and they send the results over to your doctor. If you login online, you can view all your blood tests over the years and results for each one

They are loaded to the patient portal and will be loaded later today. Just the fact that they are not there as of now and the doctor felt the need for US is little scary.

Same thing happened to me. Nothing unusual- I had elevated enzymes and got an emergency ultrasound that same week. Turned out to be stage 0 nafld

my ALP was 132 5 months back and now it is sitting at 175

For the future, I always ask for a copy of mine so I can compare to past ones. I have them from 2015 to current
