diagnosed with nafld yesterday

Hi, Ive just been told i have NAFLD (not far away from NASH if i dont do something) Does anyone have a list of foods/ oils/ treats that are ok?!

Welcome to the forum, sorry to hear of your diagnosis but hopefully you can get on top of it and improve matters. NAFLD is the fastest rising cause of liver disease in the Western World and many don't find out until it's too late so at least you've found out and you are in a position to get to grip with it.I can't speak from any experience with NAFLD but the BLT has a page all about the condition at:- britishlivertrust.org.uk/in...

They also released information recently into a study about the benefits of a Mediterranean style diet for NAFLD plus coffee is excellent in helping reverse the condition.

Hi Katie, thanks for the info very useful! 🙂 i also have iga nephropathy and anxiety so trying to work out a meal plan is tricky but the links you sent will 100% help! Thanks!
