Lump near rib cage and left shoulder blade

I have found a swelling near my liver and a lump at right shoulder blade I'm waiting to go for an ultrasound has anyone had these symptoms with liver cancer as was told it maybe because of liver cancer thank you in advance.

I thought your doctor has already examined you and said it was nothing to be concerned about but was arranging a scan for peace of mind. Until you have that scan none of us are sadly going to be able to enlighten you any further as to what these mysterious lumps are. Who told you they could be liver cancer as it certainly wasn't your doctor based on your last post.

I personally think you are Dr Googling too much which will always convince you of worst case scenarios. There is absolutely no mention of shoulder blade lumps on the BLT page on liver cancer. britishlivertrust.org.uk/in...

I think you need to leave google alone and await your scan, your doctor obviously didn't have major concerns.

Many less scary options to sub cutaneous lumps than the big C. A lump on the shoulder, chest or even an arm is likely to be a lipoma or even a cyst. A lipoma is a soft, fatty lump that usually grows under the skin. It’s very much common, harmless and also can always be left alone. When a lipoma is pressed, it should feel soft to touch.

I had shoulder pain before my liver cancer was diagnosed. I’ve never heard of a lump in the shoulder being a symptom though. Do you have a date through for your ultrasound yet?

I have an appointment on the 14th for ultrasound in last 3 weeks I have lost nearly 2 stone had bloods taking on Thursday so will phone doc for results when they open
