My dearest friends
As some of you are aware for the past 3 years I have been investigated for PBC based on weakly AMA positive results in year 1, which led too further ongoing investigations that included MRI, CT fibroscans and monthly blood tests!
Today I received written confirmation that I'm to be discharged from my hepatologiest department as my LFT's have been stable for the past 12 months! π
It was confirmed that I must carry on improving my mild case of NAFLD and Esophagitis by re continuing my previous exercise routine and healthy eating life style to reduce my weight!
Unfortunately since my mad sky dive in March I've had 2 nasty accidents, which included fracturing my leg causing me to gain a stone in weight ππ‘! Anyway this mad FlyingArrow is back on track πcyclying around 15 kilometres a day and NOT 30 as previous which some of you maybe pleased to know!
Some of you may remember I had somekind of virus in January which left me with a husky voice and chest infection. Well unfortunately I still have the sexy husky voice π€£π€£π€£ which I'm now under going fortnightly speech therapy sessions, the second session is being carried out todayππ.
Anyway I guess its time to finish off my waffling and to wish you all a Merry forthcoming Christmas π and May 2021 be a good year for us all!
Love and loads of hugs to you everyone!
Trish π
PS ...has anyone been watching an Korean TV series on Netflix? K2, Healer plus The Empress Ki based on historical facts brilliant, all sub titled by the way .
Hi Trish,
Good to hear from you, and also good to read that you have been discharged from the liver team.
Do make sure that your fatty liver is monitored moving forwards. Take care of yourself, no more accidents!
Warm wishes
Trust1
Hi Trust1Firstly, its lovely to hear from you again!
Can I ask a question, how do I get my fatty liver monitored if I'm no longer under the hepatologiest?
Trish
There is NICE guidance for the management of NAFLD, which includes fibrosis testing criteria- Your GP will have access to that.
