Hi, does anyone have a burning pain in liver area especially after eating? Also suffering indigestion. Bloods all came back within acceptable range. Had gallbladder out 2 years ago. Getting tested next week for helicobacter. Any advice appreciated.

My consultant said to me that my pain was caused by my liver being do fatty and enlarged it stretches the capsule around it which causes the pain. Hi, the burning pain is easing off - I have stopped drinking alcohol now for 31 days - but I've started feeling itchy all over. My bloods came back satisfactory... Ggt slightly raised but gp said nothing to worry about and have fatty liver but thinks it will do me good quitting alcohol for this. Is it common for liver symptoms to get worse before they get better at this stage of alcohol withdrawal? Appreciate any advice. Thanks
