I have had raised ALT in recent tests but normal GGT. Just had some results from tests I had last week which have shown my LFTs have normalised however my copper levels have come back raised! I had a scan a couple weeks again which has show a completely normal looking liver.

I can't pretend to know anything about this, but there is a condition called Wilson's disease where the liver is affected and it is by raised copper levels, which apparently accumulate in the body.

I have posted a link to the BLT website information section on Wilson's disease. I'm not for one minute suggesting you have it, but that it might be something that the doctors can cross off (or not) the list of what is causing your problems. britishlivertrust.org.uk/in...

Good luck getting diagnosed.
