Hi I had a fullblood test done everything came back normal. Apart from ferritin levels which 250 . Doctor wants me to have them retaken on Friday. Should I be concerned at all ?

Hello,
There are many reasons why the ferritin level may be raised.One result does not prove or disprove anything and, also, different labs have different ranges of normal. It is sensible for your GP to repeat the test. He/she can then organise any further tests if required.
