Just had my third fibroscan. First one f4 scirrosis, second one f2 , so they wanted to do a third to make sure. This third one showed f2 as well, so happy days, I can live with that, literally. No alcohol, healthy food, is the big change. Obviously, not everyone can have good news and I feel for you but those who may have a chance, please do try to heal what liver you have.

Thank you for sharing your story Julie.

Making those important changes, cutting out alcohol and having a balanced nutritional diet are always great choices to make when you have liver disease.

Best wishes.

This is all good stuff Julie, how are you managing to cope in an alcohol-free world? Are you going to be going back for further scan's ?

Probably regular scans us every six months not sure if I need another fibroscan unless bloods change. I haven’t touched alcohol for 3 years. Have nice expensive juice instead. I have a smell of my husbands glass of red every now and then. But won’t let myself sip.
