Good morning Catlady1972,

Unfortunately no-one will have this information except your own medical team.

May I suggest you contact them to discuss .

Take care,

I see that you are newly transplanted Catlady - I hope recovery is going well. They have to get the balance right of your meds post t/p to keep everything going along tickety boo. Obviously your meds required to be tweaked because some level or other wasn't exactly how they'd like it. I think you can expect lots of meds tweaking as you go along. Give your t/p co-ordinator a bell if you really need to know why this particular tweak was needed but i'd trust your t/p team. That's why your visit or have bloods done so regular immediately post transplant so they can see that the level of immune suppression, anti rejection etc. is just right. Does your little green book not explain anything on the meds side of things?

Trust your t/p team, they know what they are doing.

All the best, Katie

Thank you I’m still in a bit of a spin about it all, to start feeling ill, losing weight, falling over many test and a eight pint blood transfusion. Then be told I have cirrhosis of the liver and need a transplant......Total Shock and panic. Glad you are doing well πŸ‘πŸΌ

Hi u will find they change the anti rejection 1s quite alot at beginning depending on blood results. I take 1.5mg twice a day at moment I was transplanted 18 months ago. I also take mycophenolate 250mg twice a day. Take care.

Your dosage will change several times . Straight after transplant I took 7.5mg adoport tacrolimus twice daily this was soon lowered due to kidney problems, now 3 years post only take 0.5mg twice daily plus 750mg mycophenolate. Everybody reacts differently to the drugs and th dose is calculated on an individual basis
