Hi everyone,

I posted a while ago about my health concerns I've been having which have been going on for around 3/4 months now.

It started with bad headaches, tiredness and feeling a bit woozy, I had bloods done which showed ALT 79 and GGT 116. This scared me a lot and I stopped all drinking and started eating mega healthy (I don't drink in the week but binged a bit, and my diet was already mostly healthy) I'm 28 by the way.

Since then I had a US scan which showed nothing of concern and further bloods. My ALT went down to 42 and GGT 60. This reassured me however I was still getting symptoms.

I left it for a month to see if anything improved symptoms wise, annoyingly nothing much did. I often feel nauseous, I get RUQ pain, feel like I cant digest anything remotely unhealthy, and also get this weird thing in my throat similar to what I'd expect from a reaction from something, Almost dry lump/tightness, (has anyone had this?) I have just had my bloods back from a test this week which show GGT 30, AST 30, but ALT back up to 50?

The doctor has now almost dismissed me and said they don't think there is anything up but I'm still getting these symptoms. I know no one is a doctor but just wondering if anyone has experienced similar and its eventually passed?

Thanks in advance

I'm in a similar position being none the wiser for about 8 months now. My GGT has ranged from 106 - 173, ALP between 333- 362, Alt 222-266. My original consultant wasn't bothered by these results.

I'm now with a different consultant who although puzzled is showing concern.

My main symptoms are fatigue, poor appetite, night sweats and chronic diarrhea. Although I've had other symptoms shaking, nausea which lasted months, cramps, joint pains, headaches...

Hope you get some answers soon.

hi there davey-you're pretty young to be having lifestyle related liver issues although the fact that you changed your diet and bloods started normalizing might indicate something. what about weight?
